The outer shell of the Solar Smart Bench™  is made of high-grade weather resistant steel. Plexiglass is used to cover and protect the solar panels. All electronic components of the bench are contained within its steel frame. It all makes for a beautiful, sleek and functional bench.

Installation takes less than one hour on a pre-prepared base. The Solar Smart Bench™ is mounted using just two 14mm screw plugs and  two10mm × 80mm bolts. Easy.

To install, two holes are drilled into the base. Screw plugs are inserted before the bench is placed, then the bolts are screwed in and everything is sealed. The mounting bolts are not accessible from the outside.

The base must be solid and flat — concrete, asphalt and stone are ideal. The base should also be installed away from electrical, water and telephone lines; none of these should be below the base.

After the bench is installed, it needs to be connected to the internet to perform start-up diagnostics. After this, the access panels are securely covered and locked and the bench is then ready for use.

The manufacturer’s warranty covers damage or malfunction occurring during proper installation, usage and handling for 12 months. Full details are presented in the warranty documentation that is included with the Solar Smart Bench™.

The Solar Smart Bench™ requires minimal physical maintenance from you. Only a regular cleaning is required to keep the solar panels work efficiently.

We have tested the bench for temperature extremes: 56 °C in heat, and -10 °C in cold. The temperature tolerances for the components used in the bench are 90 °C  to -45 °C.

The Solar Smart Bench™ runs completely green, absorbing all its needed energy from the sun. Internal batteries store energy, while the on-board control system manages energy usage. Bench functionality changes in response to battery charge levels which are impacted by weather conditions, sunshine levels and time of day.

The solar panels placed under the transparent bench seat produce roughly 100 watts of electrical power per hour.

The solar panels, battery and on-board components are managed by a controller which determines which components may be used. The controller considers a range of conditions, including the time of day, battery charge levels and temperature. This system allows for efficient battery use and enables deep charging and discharging cycles, providing maximum battery efficiency throughout the year. It really is a smart bench.

Device chargers (USB and wireless), the cooling system and LED screen on the bench use the most energy. Although consumption of these devices is significant, the controller we developed manages energy consumption and optimizes the consumption/reserve/energy generation ratio.

The newest versions of the Solar Smart Bench™ can work up to a week without sunshine with a full battery. The function of the bench does depend on the level of usage, the time of year and the status of the batteries when sunshine stop, of course.

Yes! The Solar Smart Bench™ enables charging of mobile devices like phones, tablets, smart watches and any other device that uses a USB wire or can accept wireless charging. This makes the bench an ideal solution for all open or remote spaces that generally lack easily accessible points for battery charging.

The fifth generation Solar Smart Bench™  is equipped with an independently developed wireless charger which enables cable-less charging of newer wireless smart phones. Two smart USB ports on the side of the bench provide output power of 10 watts for quick mobile phone charging. An advanced system recognizes the exact type of the device at the moment of connection, and adjusts the output voltage and electricity according to device specifications. This kind of system provides quick mobile phone charging with absolute battery protection. All a user has to do is provide their own cord.

To make the Solar Smart Bench™ more comfortable during summer, a cooling system makes seat temperature just about perfect.It would quickly cooling of the seat as soon as temperatures exceed 30 °C.

The Solar Smart Bench™ is equipped with decorative night lighting which illuminates the bench itself as well as everything in a two-meter radius. Night lighting can be adjusted seasonally, based on weather conditions or time. The color of the LED lights can also be customized.

The LED screen is connected to the internet, which allow us to schedule and change the ads via the web site or mobile devices.
